First, create an account on the site. Next, select “Courses” and choose from the available modules. When you select “Enroll Now” the site will ask you if you are enrolling to distribute the courses to a group. Upon choosing this option, you will be prompted to name your group. You can then choose from the available modules to add for your group’s training. Once you complete the “checkout” process, you will be prompted to “View your Licenses” and walked through the process for entering, or uploading, email addresses for course distribution. Each contact you enter will be emailed a license number to redeem on the site. When they redeem their unique license, they are tracked as part of your group, and you will be able to log in and track the progress of your users throughout the courses.

If you are planning to distribute a large number of licenses, please be aware that some mail services will block a certain number of messages generated from the same email address. If you plan to send more than 100 licenses at one time, we recommend you check with your organization’s IT/email services to determine whether this may be an issue. Licenses are distributed from the email address: no-reply@pbfeducation.org

If you are a member of a group (this could be a school group, or a fire department), and administrator for your group may have created a training course for you. If so, you will receive an email with a license number. This unique license number must be redeemed (entered) on the website, so that the site can track you as a member of this group. If you are not part of a group, you can still access the training on this site as an individual user at no charge.

Click "Login" and then select "Forgot Password." You will be prompted to enter your email address and then prompted to answer the security question you established in the "Create Account" process. Once you answer this question correctly, your login information will be emailed to you.

If you have lost your license number you will have to contact the person who originally sent you your license number and ask them to resend it.

The most common reason for difficulty viewing video online is bandwidth or connection speed. The site is optimized to provide video based upon your detected connection speed, but at times, networks experience spikes in activity in the middle of playback. You may need to let the video sit and buffer before it will play smoothly. For igot2kno training, all resource videos are also available on the igot2kno channel at www.youtube.com.

Video resources cannot be downloaded, but may be shared via Digg, Facebook, or Twitter. These options are available at the top of the screen on resource videos. To download document resources, click on and open the document. In the upper left corner, under the File menu, select “Save As” and then choose a location on your computer to save the file.

Make sure you have created an account and logged in. You must be a registered user to access the training modules. All training materials are available FREE of charge and creating an account is simple. You do not need to create an account to access the blogs, forums, news feed, or resource materials. You must be logged in to post to forums or comment on blogs. Modules may also take some time to run, depending upon your connection speed. Each module has a “loading” message that will indicate how quickly it is downloading. If you are on a slow or busy connection, please be patient.

You may also need to ensure your browser and Flash player are up to date. The site will run optimally with:
